Feeling not only heard, but also deeply understood and valued, builds trust and collaboration. These are critical elements of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where we will work toward healing and positive change together. Our sessions will also focus on enhancing resilience through skill-building techniques.
Although I am still a therapist in training, I have over ten years of experience in the mental health field. As such, a specialty area of mine is supporting individuals and families through challenging life transitions and emotional difficulties.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction(MBSR), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.
I offer therapy to individuals ages 18+ at our Middleton Satellite Clinic, as well as virtually. I currently offer evening hours only.
Areas I Treat:
- Anxiety
- Stress reduction & Distress tolerance
- Depression
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and symptomatology
- Trauma
